The Trudeau electric fondue pot makes the bother of sterno a remote memory! The eleven part set is a space saver offering the choice of either hot broth or oil established fondue for meat and seafood or just pop in the stoneware bowl for cheese or chocolate fondue. The mirror finish 18/10 stainless steel pot rests on a modular warming base that has a non stick warming plate with a variable temperature control. The fitted light indicates either on or off. The electric fondue also comes equipped with a fast release, magnetic power cord for safety, six stainless steel forks with a bright dot of color on the end for easy identification and a fork guide to keep forks from sliding. 500 watts and UL accepted.

Rating: Somewhat Disappointed
While the price was good and the product does indeed work, the power cord which attaches magnetically detaches easily, making it something of a ache when you have a group over to share. While this is a comparatively minor issue it is certainly worth noting, as it may be a pretty annoyance.

Fondue
We love this little fondue pot, we used it for cheese without the burning double boiler feature is great, and used it for oil. It works great for both. Just need and extension cord to get it where you want it.

Rating: Exclenet, Easy and Clean
I bought this for my girlfriend’s birthday with many fondu cookbooks. The Melting Pot is a favorite restaurant of ours and this set helped us get a alike experience from the comfort of our own home.

The double boiler for the cheese and chocolate is perfect. The cheese stayed nice and evenly melted through the complete time we eated it. The chocolate melted quite well, but our recipe was not that good, so it got tacky. I do not believe that was the fault of the pot.

For the major dinner course, we discarded the small fork holding ring. It was too crowded with the ring and many of our meats were impossible to get out. You also can not really get in there with a rescue spoon when the ring is on. Without the ring, the forks are more tipsy and may fall out if they get tangled. This is the only reason the review looses a star.

As mentioned by everyone, the cord is short. You’ll need an extension cord unless you have an outlet on the table. The magnetic disconnect worked well and we had no issues with it.

This is a great product. The only thing I could wish for could be a somewhat bigger variant that could comfortably serve more people.

Rating: Ships a disappointing product
If the product received from did not arrive used, dirty, repackaged, and with missing parts, I may have something good to say about it. Also to receiving an clearly returned product, i was kept waiting for it for 45 days. Customer beware, it’ll take a week for this wreck to get back to Amazon, if you get acknowledgement of backorder shipment you will know what to expect.

Rating: Fun for the whole family
My wife and I enjoy “the Melting Pot” restaurant so I thought it could be fun to get this for home. We fired it up on New Year’s Eve and had a three course blast of cheese, broth for cooking beef and chicken, and turtle chocolate dessert. Cooked well even boiled the broth, but the temperature control did not seeme real exact. The pot is a little small to support four people trying to cook simultaneously, but we managed just good. Was worth it for us. BTW, found many great Melting Pot recipes by Googling online but ordered the Melting Pot Cookbook.

Rating: Still in great form after 19 months!
We bought one of these with the ten inch variant. After years of disappointment in non stick skillets we have found a product that works and lasts. 19 months afterward, having seen almost daily use of each, these skillets are in great form, and should last a long time to come. We can strongly recommend these skillets for quality, longevity, and bang for the buck. Here are the basic rules we follow to take care of them: No heat above medium setting, never use “Pam” or any spray oils we use olive oil, never use metal utensils don’t be tempted, no matter what they say about being safe for metal utensils, and only use scouring pads made for non stick skillets although scouring pads are seldom needed. The surfaces now only show tiny wear scratches, and nothing that goes all the way through the non stick level. Only normal wear and tear, and less than any other non stick skillet we have owned. And the non stick surface still works like it should. They are keepers, and we will purchase again when they do wear out. Good for you Cuisinart!

The pan arrived quickly. I have used it some number of times usually for eggs and it performed well. I have only had it a short time so I do not know about the durability of the nonstick surface still. I did a just total of research before buy and this pan had good reviews.

Rating: This Pan Is a Must in My Kitchen
The three star ranking is for the inherent weaknesses of all nonstick skillets I have ever used: the surface will last a bit more than a year, or less, the handle is sub par, and the skillet is too light and prone to warping. Among that group this one is a 5, hands down.

The cooking surface is big and it’ll work in a 500 degree oven. I like it much better than any other nonstick skillet it is size.

For everyday use I have 12″ Le Creuset, but there are many dishes that work best with a nonstick and this one is an excellent performer.
